Uterine clamping in uterine prolapse and urinary incontinence due to uterine prolapse. Conservative expectant (nonsurgical) treatment for the duration of fertile life, in elderly patients, or in very mild cases where surgery has been ruled out. How to use: Sanitize the pessary before first use, boiling it in water at 100ºC for 3 to 5 minutes, or sterilizing it with steam at 134ºC for 5 minutes. Use specific lubricants for silicone products (available in pharmacies), or a lubricant product prescribed by your doctor. To insert the pessary, squeeze the sides, forming an elongated shape, and insert it into the vagina. Once in place, the pessary returns to its original ring shape. Whenever you remove the pessary from the vagina, it should be cleaned by boiling it in water at 100°C for 3 to 5 minutes. Then proceed with insertion according to sections 2 and 3.
