The podofix tension instrument is necessary to activate the podofix active adhesive bandage. The desired pulling force is applied to the nail with 1.5 to 2 revolutions of the wire loop. The tension instrument is precisely adjusted to the length of the podofix® hook loop so that the rotation number for activation is always between 1.5 and 2. The dosage is infinitely variable. The podofix tension instrument can be sterilized in a hot air sterilizer or autoclave.
