MicoVital ® Lion's Mane is a food supplement based on the extract of the lion's mane fungus (Hericium erinaceus), of which the fruiting body is exclusively used, which contains a higher concentration of polysaccharides (beta-glucans) and triterpenes such as hericenone, with neurotrophic properties. The product is available in two formats: capsules with the dry extract and in bottles with the liquid extract. For the two types of organic lion's mane extract, only the fruiting bodies are used. They are extracted with ultrasonic assisted technology (UAE), and with hot water and alcohol. With this innovative extraction method we are able to maximize the bioavailability of the compounds of interest found in lion's mane. MicoVital® Lion's Mane – Dry extract in capsules In addition to the extract of lion's mane fruiting bodies, it contains zinc and copper that contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system and the protection of cells against oxidative damage, and vitamin B2 (riboflavin) that contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and the maintenance of mucous membranes, skin and vision under normal conditions. Why is MicoVital® Lion's Mane extract so special? For the two formats of the organic extract of lion's mane, only fruiting bodies are used. The "Ultrasonic Assisted Extraction (UAE)" technology is used, spring water and alcohol as a preservative of the final extract. With this innovative extraction method we are able to maximize the bioavailability of the compounds of interest found in lion's mane. Miron violet glass vials, a unique type of glass container known as biophotonic, are used in the liquid extract. Miron glass also filters out harmful rays while filtering out infrared, ultraviolet, and violet light, extending product life and effectiveness.
